About
Judi Bell
AASW approved Clinical Social Worker & Accredited Mental Health Specialist with almost thirty years of clinical experience, Judi is a Medicare provider and brings a respectful, grounded, and highly skilled approach to the broad range of people she works with.
Adolescents, Youth, and Emerging Adults: Judi has a Bachelor of Social Work and a Masters in Mental Health with a focus on Youth Psychiatry. She is very experienced at accurately assessing, planning, and providing relevant interventions for adolescents, youth, and emerging adults. This can include working closely with GP's and Psychiatrists. She also works with the family as required to ensure the best outcomes for young people.
Adults: Judi specialises in anxiety and depression; men’s and women’s mental and emotional health and wellbeing; and has a vast experience and passion for recovery from trauma, with excellent outcomes for eliminating ongoing trauma-based behaviours and symptoms.
NDIS Participants: Judi works with NDIS participants who have complex mental health challenges and/or diagnoses.
Workcover Queensland: Judi is available to assist people who have experienced a workplace injury. She is registered with Workcover Queensland to provide assessment and support.
Supervision: External supervision is available for managers, clinicians, and specialist teams in allied health. Judi works with individuals and groups and is a member of the Australian College of Supervisors.
Along the Way: As a professional artist and teacher, Judi is well known for bringing specialised creativity into her sessions to achieve better therapeutic outcomes, especially for young people. Over the years, she has learned that talking about things is not always the answer and that no one thing works best in isolation. She is celebrated for her insightful therapeutic planning and has trained in subconscious-mind therapies as well as talk therapies in order to provide the best tools for the job.
From There to Here: Through ongoing professional development and years of practical clinical experience, Judi now has an eclectic approach that enables her to identify the most effective interventions and is committed to successful outcomes in realistic timeframes.
Recent Positions: Judi has had the opportunity to offer her expertise to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (WA) as a senior clinician, and to headspace in Queensland as a Clinical Manager.

Suzanne Harris
ACA approved Counsellor with more than fifteen years of clinical experience, Suzanne specialises in brief intervention and solution-focused therapy. She brings a structured, practical approach to the broad range of people she works with.
EAP Counselling:
Through a mix of general counselling and psychoeducation, Suzanne assists staff to gain clarity, improve their self-care, and learn new strategies to support their identified challenges. This may include aspects of Assertiveness, Overcoming Negativity, Social Anxiety, Building Self Esteem, Mindfulness, Cognitive Resilience, Boundaries, Grief and Loss. She also loves to teach about breathwork, strategies for managing anxiety, and how to identify the key areas for life satisfaction that are most relevant to you.
Supervision:
As a member of the Australian College of Supervisors, Suzanne is qualified to offer the Rise Up model of external supervision and offers professional supervision to support workers in allied health.
NDIS Participants:
Suzanne offers general counselling, social skills training, and tailored therapeutic coaching to facilitate improved educational outcomes for NDIS participants.
As a respectful and creative coach and therapist, Suzanne’s one-to-one self-paced learning opportunities for NDIS participants provide effective outcomes while boosting self-esteem, confidence, and a sense of safety in new learning. She is an accredited tutor and member of ATA. Suzanne also teaches several supported certificate programs including building self-esteem, assertiveness, social confidence, and mood management.
AOD Recovery Coaching:
Along with many years of experience as a Drug and Alcohol Case Manager, Suzanne has also been instrumental in planning, designing, and setting up a 24-bed drug and alcohol rehab in Western Australia. She currently provides one-to-one sessions as additional support to those who are seeking to strengthen their recovery through an informed therapeutic approach, as well as facilitating a single Q&A session for those who are seeking clarification about their own or someone else’s substance use.
Practice Management:
Suzanne is the practice manager at Mental Health Matters and is often the first point of contact for individuals coming into the practice or calling to make an appointment. She thoroughly enjoys greeting visitors upon arrival and supporting their experience through a well-run professional practice.
Along the Way:
Suzanne is certified in graphic design, advanced administrative and computer skills, remedial literacy and numeracy coaching, planning for individualised teaching strategies and managing potential pain-based behaviours, trauma crisis Interventions, instructional design, therapeutic drumming, acting fundamentals, and is a diploma-qualified counsellor. She works with a broad range of people utilising an eclectic approach that is dynamic, interesting, and current.
From There to Here:
Suzanne loves end-to-end projects. She is known for her creative solutions in design, and her development of specialised therapeutic and educational materials and activities to support individuals in their journey from where they are now to where they would like to be.
Recent Positions:
Suzanne has had the opportunity to offer her expertise to headspace Pilbara as a specialist youth clinician, to Intensive Foster Care supporting Youth and Families, and to Pilbara Community Alcohol and Other Drug Service as an AOD Case Manager.

Consultation Fees
Fees are payable on the same day as the appointment.
Initial Appointment $180 60 - 90 minutes
Subsequent Appointments $180 50 - 60 minutes
Medicare Rebate $79.05
Please note that a doctor’s referral is required for Medicare Rebate
Work Cover Queensland
Judi is an approved provider for Work Cover Queensland and services are invoiced directly through the Work Cover Queensland Portal.
NDIS
Judi provides psychological therapies, training, and other therapies for NDIS participants. Services are invoiced directly via email or the plan management portal.
External Supervision
Judi Bell may provide External Supervision upon application.

Alcohol and Other Drugs
